Its not mandatory, But police stations always will buy American made cars because they get a huge discount on them, and parts are chaeper for domestic cars compared to imports. In my town my Police Department has a Mitsubishi Lance Evo, but that was confiscated because the owner was street racing, so unless PD are getting the imported cars for free, they more then likly wont have them.
