I barely remember this movie. I believe I only saw it once, and I believe it was back in the 70’s.

Does a 00 get killed in this one? I remember something about that but I can’t remember if it was this one or not.

I recommend this one for any movie buff.. It’s far from perfect.. but it is still pretty good, and being that it was the first non-Connery 007 flick, and stars the only actor to play the role only once, it has a certain historical significance.
I agree that Lazenby’s acting leave a bit to be desired.. but i still much prefer him as Bond over Roger Moore.

    Cute hair by the way.

I enjoyed this Bond as much as you can a Bond.Taught Telly.S did a great job.Good review Micheal.

Yes, Moore is arguably the most popular Bond, I believe, but the least believable. And the hair spray is what bankrupted MGM! As he got older and the girdles got tighter, it was so obvious when they were using an athletic stunt double.

    Thanks for checking in.

    Michael.
BTW… the hair will be snipped again soon. I can’t do a bloody thing with it, and the fuckin’ hairnets really do not help. That was just me attempting to level the hair out from the Einsteinian mop!

I don’t think so. I forget which movie has a agent biting it. But I recall that GoldenEye had Sean Bean – 006, I believe – faking his death to cover up his duplicity.

Thanks for the compliment. But Telly sure was a different Blofeld – American accent, basically, and a bob-sledder! Who knew?

i haven’t seen a james bond movie in forever. i’m anxious to get to one or two or 22 when i have more energry. lol

My favorite Bond film. By far. Love the theme song LOVE Dianna Riggs an G.L. did a good job filling in for Connery.

I do like it a lot, while recognizing its short-comings. But Lazenby was lambasted far more than he should have been for taking on a veritably thankless task. No one can ‘replace’ Connery – Moore was being Roger Moore… strong enough to make the role his own.
