America’s Economic Addiction to War: MICC-TT Part 7/10

Nomorenarcissism: Military, Industrial, Congresssional, Think-Tank Complex (MICC-TT) www.combatreform.com The industrial age is powered to date by OIL; who has it and where has become an urgent strategic requirement and nations have gone to war over it. Not willing to give back to the people living on the land where the oil came from, the British plundered Iran infuriating their nationalist leader Mossadegh who led a revolt. The OSS-turned-into-CIA killed him with Eisenhower’s approval, leading to the puppet dictator the Shah taking over and brutalizing the people inline. The CIA report back then warned sardonically there would be some “blow back” (a term usually used to describe a type of direct gas-operated sub machine gun) and the nutty Shia Islamics took power in 1978. To counter them, we backed the Sunni Saddam Huseein in Iraq and got the two fighting eachother. Strapped for cash, he invaded Kuwait for their oil fields taking our bait causing a pre-text for us to come to the aid of the Saudis and free Kuwait who had all those mythical babies being tossed out of hospital incubators so said the attractive daughter of their ambassador with a little coaching and cash. Does the Academy offer awards for best performance under oath before Congress?

It was Eisenhower’s idea to overthrow Mosadef and install the Shah? To think a few years later later he “warned” the US public about the dangers of the Military-Industrial Complex — which all along he was setting up a HUGE market for in Iran.

    What a total, flaming hypocrite!

“By the way, how come we don’t have cheap gas prices? Why din’t we take Iraq’s oil? Why go to Irag when Mexico is closer? Why not take the North Sea oil from Norway since they have a tiny military.”
