  2. djwestbrook36 says:

this aint real poverty. i swear, there is a lot worse poverty in the hoods and in new orleans and east detroit but there just too scared to go over there. that is real terrible life in america. this is just people falling on hard times. theres a lot worse that american poverty has to offer.

  3. Manuel Villa-Real says:

I hope that America can rise again.

  4. A Seaof Honey says:

The elites and the Government planed this! Unedicated, poor citizens, working for a lousy paycheck, no safety, no power, unawarness….easy to manipulate, stupid votingcattle…..it s the same all over the world,,,the workingclass back to poverty, silence and fear…..

  5. Dustin Updegrove says:

america will. we just need to clean out our crappy politicians.

  6. M Franklyn says:

How do they pay their car insurance?

  7. M Franklyn says:

This is only a recognized problem now because it is affecting Caucasian people at a high rate, but this has been an on-going problem for ethnic people in this country.

  8. aplacefaraway says:

Daniel Carter also stabbed his uncle to death when he was 15 years old…but hey no need to mention that, not like it’s relevant at all…nice journalism work.

  9. OregonDARRYL says:

I’m disgusted by the fact that we keep electing rich guys, hand-picked by the wealthy to pass laws to help the rich get even richer on the backs of the poor. One percent of Americans own 40% of the wealth. The top 20% own 93% of the wealth – the bottom 80% share 7% – and the bottom 40% SHARE .03 percent (point zero three). America is the most out of whack country on the planet. We are simply stupid. We should be taxing back what they took. Like – NOW!

  10. OregonDARRYL says:

“Our” politicians are not “our” politicians. They are rich men pre-selected by rich men to exploit the poor for profit. And we were dumb enough to let it happen… so lets be smart enough to elect NON-rich who sign contracts with the voters to NOT allow congress to turn them, like they always do – except Bernie Sanders. That’s right, we got like ONE guy with balls who isn’t a total sell-out. ONE! Can we go for two? It would be a great start – then there would be only 533 to go….

  11. William Cooper says:

We give the Dems trillions of dollars to create jobs and we learn later on that only 5% of the money was used for this goal. The rest went to unions for votes. The unemployment rate proves this beyond any investigations later findings. Yet, we are to believe that they care, if they cared they would do with the money what they claim they want it for. What an outrage to see single moms sleeping in their cars with their children while politicians live voluptuously in their insulated bubble

  12. William Cooper says:

The one statistic that none of the poverty investigations ever bring up is that the biggest group suffering are whites. They don’t show that the fastest growing poverty group are whites and that poverty among whites rose 20% ! I guess white children don’t count and that to see them in poverty is right and social justice and revenge hard at work.

  13. William Cooper says:

The one thing you can count on with a constantly high unemployment rate is that the young will more than likely be willing to join the military to escape their plight and our daughters will to sell their bodies to get by. Parents should not allow either, but to do what they can to ensure they find hope even if they have to all live together for the rest of their lives.

  14. JasonPMartin says:

But they aren’t homeless or unemployed?

  15. TOBI10795 says:

thats how they define poverty. While others don’t even have a clean drinkable water..

  16. Schowiest Sleet says:

  17. nguyenxuanmai says:

What is the education level of these parents? I don’t see that being addressed. I have my hunches – however.

  18. JasonPMartin says:

I feel for them, but it could be a lot worse!

  19. WildernessUntamed says:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” – John 5,24

The freedom Jesus can give is far beyond any poverty!

Jesus is mighty to save! – Flee to him!

I’ll keep praying for you country!

    Soli Deo Gloria!

  20. onefodderunit says:

Sorry you got conned out of your homes but you really need to stop eating whatever junk food you’re eating that’s making you fat. Eat salad, nuts and fruit. Save money.
Thank the Marxist/Zionist anti-Christs who are globalizing the world, and have placed you under surveillance while robbing the children of their dreams.

  21. j1607760 says:

This entire documentary is featuring white people. Cities like Detroit, DC and Chicago have had thousands of people (mostly of color) who have been enduring these conditions for a generation now.
Yet, you have the gall to come here and peddle your, “Whites are being neglected” horsecrap while we see white face after white face in this documentary.
Racism is a mental disorder. Get help now.

  22. Salsa23PR says:

Why did these families have all these kids? The 1st family has 5 kids, the 2nd 6 kids, etc. They qualify for the earned income credit, child tax credit and other credits that probably give them $15000 yearly tax return checks and the 1st guy says he still saving for a security deposit?? Bullshit. They def get foodstamps and freecare too.

I only feel sorry for the old lady. The others can screw.

  23. Salsa23PR says:

I have a friend who is just like these fuckin parasites. She and her husband have 5 wonderful kids that they can’t afford. They get $1000 a month in foodstamps which they “budget” to get their cigarettes and junk food, pay no health insurance, get HUGE tax refunds at the end of the year, live in their car and try to sponge of everybody they can. Losers.

  24. ello34 says:

funny how they never talk about their tax refunds
