  1. Dean F says:

We are living in a UN controlled world where GATT, NAFTA, WTO, IMF BIS have
encouraged debt-control, trade structures with Communist nations given free
trade status, and enormous shifts in currency valuations through a central
bank, that is against the Constitution. The countries traded with have
enormous populations that work cheap, and now that the US is
De-industrialized, the middle class is done-for here. As soon as this is
realized we may be defenseless to rise against the evil that ensues.

Well, we could return to full employment if we didn’t have the minimum
wage. Then finally the lowest skilled workers could get a foothold in the
workforce and begin increasing their human capital. It’s worth noting that
whenever a minimum wage increase is proposed, corporate giants like
Wal-Mart lend their full support–why might this be? Because they easily
have the profit margins to swallow the added cost whereas smaller companies
haven’t the resources. MW = Job killer, that simple.

  3. Shiv Patel says:

Or just inflate the money supply to 2-2.25 percent and watch as if like
magic, unemployment goes away. Better to do so while interest rates are low
than to wait until interest rates rise to inflate.

There is a lot of work to do in the US, yet many Americans are jobless. A
lot of wealth is created, but most of the wealth goes to the 1% and does
not benefit ordinary Americans. American workers are being replaced by
machines and cheap technology. Being jobless is the new normal.
