My father knows Ted Nugent. He’s an executive with a large casino company. He’s the exec VP of sports operations and helps run several casinos. So he knows a lot of people. Nugent came to NV and played one of the locations and invited my dad to the show. Well, my dad kind of had to go. Ted had a slideshow running with very graphic pictures of mutilated animals (not kidding) and held up two assault rifles saying he would like to make “Obama and Hillary suck on” them. The crowd went wild.
Just to be clear, my father would not go to a Ted Nugent show if he didn’t have to show up with the rest of management. They were trying to work out a business deal which I can’t talk about because it may still happen. Even though he knows the guy and says he’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, he is not a right-winger or even close to one so he just isn’t the kind of guy who would go to a show like that. It is, however, a story worth sharing.
