    i love the ending it stands out among all other bond films, most of them
    are happy satisfying endings, this goes against the grain. thats a good
    thing

    The actor was good, but the storyline was bad, the picture was bad. It was
    the worst Bond movie (at least in my opinion).

    Diana Rigg owes her moves to being Emma Peel in the Avengers which at the
    time 1969 was just ending its American run. This is one of the few movies
    to actually follow the book closely and at the time audiences were weaned
    on Sean Connery and so had a hard time with the new BOnd much like we are
    today with Daniel Craig. But if you read the Ian Fleming book it is very
    close page for page . It was a different side of james Bond more human like
    but a sad ending much like Skyfall both are shockers
