No mention about people getting physically sick from the gas fumes.

    Great video.

What a bunch of propaganda! Fracking causes earthquakes and sink wholes! It
literally destroys the land! Not only should it be outlawed but the people
advocating it should be hung! In 2020 America will be a 3rd world country
    on par with Bangladesh.

So in other words, our economy is improving DESPITE what Obama is doing to
kill it. Remember, he said he was going to kill the coal industry and he’s
poured billions into the failure of “renewable” energy. Think of how much
better our economy would be if Obama wasn’t in office. Unemployment would
be somewhere between 10%-15% (it is currently at 23% –
http://tinyurl.com/73tucvm) and millions of people would have been allowed
to keep the healthcare plans they liked. Now? Thank goodness for the
resurgence in oil and gas otherwise the phony unemployment and economic
statistics would like the REAL statistics.

Amazon.com is raising the price for Amazon Prime citing rising fuel costs.
Meanwhile this video is telling me how redemption is just around the
    corner. Whom do I believe?

Is the damn thing getting cheaper than what it would have been? Sure. Is it
getting cheaper in real terms? Don’t think so.

This video paints a rosy picture. Please realize gas companies have
lobbied and succeeded to weaken environmental protections to maximize
profits for fracking : (ref “Halliburton Loophole” :
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_Policy_Act_of_2005). This allows the
use of extremely harmful chemicals and the bare minimum of safety
procedures to keep profits high. These chemicals are illegal to expose to
surface waters, but ironically it’s fine to inject them deep underground
where they CAN (and DO) intermingle with groundwater. (cite one of
    numerous incidents of contamination :
    http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2011/02/27/us/natural-gas-map.html?_r=2&
    )

These chemicals have also been historically regarded as trade secrets–
protecting them from disclosure and making it difficult to test water
sources. This should simply not be allowed when dealing with common
resources such as groundwater. Owning a lease to a land gives NO ONE the
right to contaminate a river flowing through that land– above OR below
    ground level.

Furthermore, plaintifs who sue gas companies for health issues and/or water
replacement are forced to sign gag orders in return for payment. Others
    have gone public :
    http://pennsylvaniaallianceforcleanwaterandair.wordpress.com/the-list/

One should realize ground waters should be protected with equal strength as
we protect surface waters. If you can’t dump certain chemicals above
ground, you shouldn’t be able to (secretly) inject them below ground.
That’s pollution, and theft of our resources. Fix laws and do it the right
way. Don’t bribe and gag the sick.

The water table goes three miles down? I didn’t know that! Meh. Keep
sendin’ them Yankee dollars to Texas, kids, and we’ll keep a’ frackin’ for
    ya’!…

  10. Patrick Wilson says:

Hydraulic fracturing gets all the press and is touted as the reason for our
lower energy costs, but hand in hand with fracking goes directional
drilling–the science of drilling sideways down the seam. When I started
in the patch, we had to drill ten wells to get one producing well. Now the
ratio is inverted and every well we drill is equivalent to ten of the old
wells production. Thank you to the American oilman for giving us jobs,
technology and cheap energy. Now we need to focus on powering our vehicles
using compressed natural gas, instead of liquid gasoline! Cleaner and
    cheaper. America leads the way.

The drilling rigs and the oil will be gone in 15 years. The golddiggers
    will leave.
The soil to grow wheat will be there forever. The farmers will stay.

  13. Michael Meyer says:

We need to do this to support Manufacturing and make america strong and
independent and pay off our deficient. and become and energy export
    country. THIS IS HUGE.

    Bias beyond belief!!!
