Rep. Perlmutter’s (D “Blue Dog”-CO) loopholes in the House “reform” bill exempts derivatives and leaves TBTF in tact and Wall Street asset Sen. Dodd’s bill looks to be even worse. This is propaganda because the attention should be directed at Corporate-owned Democrats but the last time someone tried to take on the real problem, lobbyist-owned Democrats, Rahm Emanuel called them “F’ing retarded”… hence the reason this ad is by “allies” Newspeak for DNC/DLC- approved via loyalty.

Derivatives in their own right are fine. i.e. contracts that are based on an underlying market (stocks, bonds, ETFs in America, CFDs outside America, etc) but when you have bets on bets on bets that is just a recipe for disaster. Nomi Prins is right, TBTF should be TBTE (Too Big Too Exist).

    What’s a derivative? What’s a derivative? What’s a derivative? What’s a derivative?
