the average lifetime of a fiat currency is around 27 years I believe… that makes the U.S. dollar like 40 years overdue for collapse! It’s coming! Hyperinflation and massive asset devaluation will prove the biggest threat to life as we know it. Prepare
I’m not sure the chemicles are what will keep prices low for processed foods…it is probably the ability to purchase in bulk throughout the entire production of the product. Most organic farms are not the size of commercial farms and cannot purchase in bulk, and therefore have to pass along the higher costs.
Inflation is a loss of confidence in a currency. 70 years is the average lifespan of fiat. At some point hyperinflation will hit, and it will seem like overnight to those who sleep now
Depending on how you look at it is about 40 years for the lifespan of fiat. Our Fiat currency has already gone through several stages with the last being the complete release from gold in 1971. And yes organic farms have a higher cost in some ways but not others. Many organic farms are a family-owned and run and they do not have the employee and overhead expenses that go with that. As well Organic farms don’t get subsidies like the big corporate farms do.
There wouldn’t be such an opportunity for large farms to buy in bulk if it wasn’t for the artificial growth hormones, inhumane conditions, and increased production by substitution of artificial ingredients that allow more product for less cost. I see where your coming from with the supply and demand of it but supply and demand rarely exists in a meaningful way in todays world. About the purest form of supply and demand we have today is Ebay.
